Does AquaTru remove Microplastics? – Help Center

Yes. AquaTru purifiers have been tested and certified to reduce microplastics under NSF 401. The exact performance varies from unit to unit. A brief summary of the test results is below but more details can be found on our performance data sheets.

In laboratory conditions the:

Carafe reduces microplastics at an average reduction rate of 98.96%
Classic reduces microplastics at an average reduction rate of 96.48%
Under the Sink reduces microplastics at an average reduction rate of 96.48%
Model 1 reduces microplastics at an average reduction rate of 96.48%
